Game Engine Capture
Virtual Capture & Player-Acting

What is game capture? Game engine capture is the process of recording gameplay footage from a game engine, often focusing on achieving specific visual effects or cinematic styles. This is achieved by leveraging the tools and features built into the game engine itself, such as the IW engine used for Call of Duty titles.

For the projects listed below, I led groups player-actors for promotional season material and narrative impact events. Using my experience in live production, I provided guidance to capture artists and editors on how to circumvent errors and engine limitations that could impede the creative process or delay production.
